NAGGL governs the SBA Program Nationally in USA.
Parag was privileged to earn a Certification in Credit Underwriting from the very own company that runs the SBA program, and therefore, enabling Parag to provide a number of vital solutions to both entrepreneurs and bankers.
Parag is Omega Credit trained. He received this training in 2003 and 2009. This gives him the ability to get more critical on Business Financials and ask the right questions.
Parag earned a 2-year Diploma in Banking Regulations and Operations from the ABA’s American Institute of Banking in 1996-97. This was his first step to start climbing the ladder in the Banking field.
Through his Former Banking Experience, Expertise in Analyzing Credit and passion to help Entrepreneurs succeed, Parag was invited by the Small Business Development Center located at Rutgers University in Middlesex County, NJ to join their Advisory Board in 2015, and also become a Counselor to educate their clients through seminars and webinars.
In 2016, Parag was invited to join the Advisory Board and become a Panelist on IT Connects’ .2-day Conference which was an educative platform on various business-related seminars and panel discussions.
Parag was recognized as one of the earliest Founding Members of Business Connects’ Business Networking Group, which now has grown into 65 members + with 5 chapters and is doing great work within the Social Media and digital marketing space.
Parag was very Proud, Privileged and Humbled to represent his SBDC at the International Franchise Expo at the Jacob Javits in NYC talking about benefits of Franchising in NJ.
Parag was very honored to join a distinguished Panel comprising of NJEDA, UCEDC and RBAC talking about Business Financing. While every lender spoke of their respective financing product, EZFS educated the room on the SBA 7a Program.
Parag was a former member of the Asian Indian Chamber since 1997- 2003 and then was invited back to be on a Panel in 2020 to educate the Chamber members on “Financing in the New Normal” during and after COVID19.
In 2017, Parag became a Consultant/Speaker and educate its members on Small Business Financing through Seminars, Webinars and Workshops as part of an initiative to give back to the Business Community ever since.
Parag joined Business Network International (BNI) in December 2019, a business networking group where members meet once a week to develop business through a defined format which has proven to be very successful worldwide. For 2020-21 year, Parag was elected to be Secretary/Treasurer for his chapter.
Parag joined and became a Vendor member at IFPG in 2018 in order to help Franchises grow and expand their footprint by becoming bankable first. Parag has been a part of webinars and other IFPG networks where he has met and helped many franchisors.
Parag was on the Ambassador Committee at the Middlesex Chamber of Commerce between 2015 and 2018, assisting the chamber in various activities to assist and connect businesses within the County. He also Co-Chaired the chamber’s Monthly Networking Meeting for 1.5 years.
Parag has also been a Rotarian at a local Rotary Chapter in the Woodbridge NJ between 2018-19
